At a meeting of the Selectmen Sept. 27 1779.
Ordered the Treasure to pay either of the Committee for Supplying the Soldiers’ Families in
the Continental Army three hundred pound in one border and three hundred two pound thirteen
shillings and four pence and one other to enable them to procure necessaries for the above said
families. Delivered to Capt. John Low.
Ordered the Treasure to pay to William Butman seventy pound in full for keeping of John
Martin until the 7th of Octr. next.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Capt. William Langdell fifty-two pound in full for keeping of
Molly Ellinwood & Molly Hales till 7th of Octr. next.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Jonathan Conant Esq. twenty-five pound ten shillings for getting
the price acts printed for the Town.
