At a meeting of the Selectmen May 28 1778.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Joseph Raymond 25/ for time he spent as one of the Committee
to remove Peter Shaw’s family with the small pox.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay George Raymond Jr. 39/ for time and expense about examining
and removing of Mr. Peter Shaw’s family when he had the small pox in 1778.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Lieut. Samuel Cole 20/ for time as one of the Committee to
examine and remove the said Peter Shaw’s family with the small pox.

Ordered the Treasurer to pay William Trask 2 one pound for time spent in examining and
removing of Peter Shaw’s family with the small pox as one of the Committee of the Town.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Dea. Benjamin Cleaves two pound six shillings 28/ for time &
expense as one of the Committee in examining and room moving of Peter Shaw’s family when they
had the small pox and 18/ for a blanket had for Bradshaw when he had the small pox that was not to
him returned again.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay George Raymond Jr. 24/ for one days time by him spent in
cleansing of Peter Shaw’s house of the small pox.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay wid. Hannah Elliott eight shillings in full for house rent for
Benjamin Pickett.
