At a Meeting of the Selectmen Feb. 161778 they ordered Town meeting should be warned and held

on Wednesday the 18 instant to be verbally notified to be held at the usual place for holding Town
meetings in said Town at two of the clock in the afternoon.
To see what measures the Town will come into for completing their quota of men in the Continental
Army for three years or during the war and raise money or hire money for that purpose and act and
do anything relative to that affair as they in their wisdom shall think best. And there was warrants
issued out to the several Constables to verbally warn the same as followeth.
To Robert Baker to warn Royal Side [Ryal Side] etc..
To Zachariah Gage to warn the Ferry Ward.
To Andrew Cleaves to warn Bald Hill Ward.
To Benjamin Woodberry to warn Farms Ward.
