At a meeting of Selectmen Jan. 12 1778.
Ordered a Town meeting be warned and held on the fourth day of February next at the usual place
for holding Town meetings in said Town at two o’clock afternoon.
To see what instructions the Town will give their representative to the Great and General Court
relative to the Articles of Confederation and Perpetual Union between the United States of America
as formed and proposed by the Hon. Congress agreeable to the recommendations of the Great and
General Court and there was a warrant issued out to Constable Zachariah Gage to warn the same
accordingly.
