At a meeting of the Selectmen Mar. 21 1777.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay of Josiah Stone four pounds seventeen shillings and nine pence.
£4-2-8 for keeping William Rogers’ wife twelve weeks and two days and for necessaries found her
and extraordinary charge in nursing her etc.
And 15/1 for the abatement of Edward Ford, tax in his list he being absconded and gone off and
turned Tory.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay wid. Mary Morse two pounds six shillings and two pence
together with 33/1 ½ of Susannah Patch’s clothing is in full for keeping the said Susanna three weeks
and for nursing and extraordinary charge and necessaries provided for her for five months time whilst
sick at her house and died there.
