At a meeting of the Selectmen April 14 1777.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay widow Abigail Elliott 13/5 being over taxed to that sum in 1776.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay wid. Hannah Foster two pounds eighteen shillings and eight
pence together with 20/8 deficiency in clothing 14/
paid John Porter for cleaning their vessel with the small pox.
4/ for digging a grave for her husband and 10/ paid Benjamin Smith for keeping of Suzanna and her
child 7 weeks of the time that she was to keep her is in full for keeping of Suzanna Ellinwood and
child one year according to agreement.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Joseph Perkins six pound thirteen shillings and four pence in full
for keeping of Mary Woodberry one year which expired on the 7th instant.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Joseph Woodberry five shillings being for the taxes of Henry
Giles in his list. Died in the Army.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Richard Standley 34/8 in full for keeping of Benjamin Sprigs
one year as per agreement.
