At a Meeting of the Selectmen Decbr. 12 1777.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Nathan Leech two pounds two shillings & four pence 24/8 for
abatement of James Hanscom’s rates in his list he being in the hand of the enemy. 13/8 of Samuel
Dane’s tax he being taxed for a pole more than he had 4/ for warning of the Town Meeting.
