Beverly November 7 1775. I, the Subscriber, do hereby covenant, promise and agree to and with
the Selectmen of said Town to keep a Grammar School in said Town the full term of six months

commencing on the 21 of October last for the sum of twenty-four pounds lawful money to be paid
quarterly.
