1774-09-26At a meeting of the Selectmen Sept. 26th1774.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Constable Hasadiah Smith seventeen shillings and eight pence
for abatement in his list as follows viz.
2/8 for Asa Herrick’s highway tax returned by mistake.
6/3 for William Campbell rate he paying the same at new Salem.
2/6 for Joseph Trow’s highway tax returned the working out the same.
6/3 for Henry Herrick taxes he being a grammar school master.
