1774-09-08 ElectionAt a meeting of the Selectmen Sept. 8th1774.
Ordered the Town Clerk to issue a warrant to call a town meeting to be held on the 26th day
of September instant at two o’clock afternoon at the usual place for holding town meetings in said
Town of Beverly.
To elect and depute one or more persons to serve for and represent them in a great and
General Court or assembly appointed to be convened, held and kept for his Majesty’s Service at the
court house in Salem upon Wednesday the fifth day of October next and so during their session or
sessions and there was a warrant issued out to Joseph Woodberry one of the Constables of this town
