At a meeting of the Selectmen of Beverly Nov. 5 1774.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Ebenezer Tuck 13/4 for exchanging of a barrel of powder of
the Town Stock.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Dea. Benjamin Cleaves twelve shillings for exchanging of a
barrel of powder of the Town Stock.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Ebenezer Francis 13/4 for exchanging of a barrel of powder of
the Town Stock.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Benjamin Jones Esq. two pound seven shillings and eleven
pence in full for his doctors bill for doing for the poor of this Town to this day.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay the wid. Priscilla Trask three pound five shillings and ten pence
for keeping of Medlish whilst at her house as per agreement.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Nathaniel Butman for cutting of wood at Mr. Patch’s house
when the said person had the Small Pox there. Ordered the Treasurer to pay the wid. Mary
Whittridge £ 3:13:4 for keeping of Thomas Cleaves his first half year as per agreement.
Ordered the Treasurer to pay Benjamin Larcom two pound six shillings and eight pence for
keeping of Joseph Larcom his first six months as per agreement.
