1774-04-08At a meeting of the Selectmen April 8th 1774. Ordered the Treasurer to pay the wid. Priscilla Woodberry 30/4 in full for keeping of Susannah Patch her last quarter as per agreement. Ordered the Treasurer to pay William Trask £ 3:14:8 in full for keeping of George Leech the year past as per agreement. Ordered the Treasurer to pay William Herrick one pound nineteen shillings and four pence in full for keeping of Hannah Clerk his later half year as per agreement. Ordered the Treasurer to pay Zachariah Gage six pound five shillings and four pence is in full together with thirteen shillings that her clothing is sufficient for keeping of Medlish the French woman till the 7th of April instant. Ordered the Treasurer to pay Samuel Woodberry forty-three shillings and four pence in full for keeping of Caleb Clerk his fourth quarter as per agreement. Ordered the Treasurer to pay Samuel Tuck 30/ for keeping of Benjamin Sprigs his latter half year as per agreement. Ordered the Treasurer to pay Josiah Obear six pound thirteen shillings and four pence in full for keeping of a District School near the mouth of the Mill Lane the Winter past. Ordered the Treasurer to pay Mr. William Butman twelve pound four pound six shillings and eight pence for keeping of John Martin and Abigail Ellinwood their fourth quarter as per agreement. 42/8 for nursing and necessaries for John Martin when sick 36/10 for clothing for John Martin that it is now better than when he received him and 63/10 for nursing and necessaries found for Abigail Ellinwood the year past as per agreement.
