1893-02-04 Telephone Pole Permi Know all men by these presents: That leave is hereby granted the Beverly Gas and Electric Company of Beverly, in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, for the purpose of conducting its business as authorized by the Board of Gas Commissioners, to erect and maintain wires at a height in no case less than twenty-five feet from the ground in, over and through the following named streets in said Beverly, and, for the support of said wires, to erect and maintain poles, either cedar or chestnut, in said streets, in the locations hereinafter set forth, to wit: Stone Street. Two poles on Stone St. substantially on line of the sidewalk and on the northerly side thereof. The 1st pole at the corner of Stone and Lothrop Sts., in place of pole formally located on Stone St., about 14 ft. from said corner. The 2d pole on Stone St. about 111 ft. from pole located at corner of Stone and Lothrop Sts. and about 90 ft. from 3d pole on Stone St. westerly from Lothrop St. Lothrop Street. One pole on Lothrop St. substantially on line of the sidewalk and on the easterly side thereof, said pole is about 62 ft. from pole at corner of Stone and Lothrop Sts. and is to replace pole formally located in front of Mr. F. W. Wyman's house. Cabot Street. One pole on Cabot St. substantially on line of the sidewalk and on the northerly side thereof, near the junction of Cabot and Conant Sts., moved about 6 ft. westerly on Cabot St. making it about 49 ft. from the pole on the southerly side of Cabot St. located near the junction of Cabot and Conant Sts. In witness whereof, and in token of our consent thereto, we, the Selectmen of said Beverly, for the time being, have hereunto set our hands this fourth day of February in the year one thousand eight hundred and ninety-three.
