Honorable Board of Aldermen
City of Beverly
Dear Members of the Board:
I respectfully request that you declare the following list of items as Surplus Property:
1. Mosler Safe Model #11
2. Small Green Safe
3. Voucher File
4. Old Wooden Desk, badly damaged
5. Black executive desk-poor condition
This represents the contents of the back room in the Community Development Office. It is taking
up badly needed space and has no value to the present occupants of the office.
I will make every attempt to have a city department use the material, if possible, and I will
make it available to other communities through the Central Register. However, the large
safe will cost $2,500.00 to move. If no one wants it for a safe, I would like to be able
to offer it for scrap. Then it can be dismantled and moved.
Please let me know of your decision.
Very turly yours,
Constance E. Perron
