UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Order #141 - Loan Authorization for Phase One of School Capital Improvements Plan took a second reading (Roll Call Vote) on Tuesday, April 19, 1994 after amendment to increase amount from $450,000 to $500,000. Bond Counsel advised that additional $50,000 was an appropriation and therefore required a second reading. Roll call vote on Second reading for $50,000. additional appropriation to Phase One School Capital Improvement Plan . YEA: Coughlin, Gilmore, Golin, Mahan, McGlynn, Rollins, Troubetaris and Nardella NAY: Murray Suspension of rules to allow Mayor to report progress on budget preparations. Mayor Scanlon hopes to submit budget to Council by May 2, 1994 meeting. Discussion on need to meet the deficit reduction plan and possible revenue sources, etc. Mayor stressed need to raise sewer rates to meet S400,000 shortfall from FY94 and cover costs of FY95, as assessed by SESD.
