RE: Oak Heights Estates Subdivision - Tot Lot Deed
Dear Honorable Council:
At the Planning Board's regular meeting held on Tuesday, February 15, 1994 the members of the
Board voted 6-1 to recommend to the Council that the City accept the attached deed to property at
the corner of Old Town and Deehaven Roads.
This property, consisting of 11,327 sq. feet, is a "tot lot" in the Oak Heights Estates
Subdivision off Essex Street. When the Beverly Planning Board approved this 48-1ot subdivision
(then called Wellingtron Hills") in 1986, it required that the tot lot be constructed and then
deeded to the City by the Developer (see attached copy of original letter of approval dated
3/25/86).
The City Council must authorize the Mayor to accept the lot on behalf of the City, sot the Plannin[
Board is forwarding this deed to you for review and action.
As a courtersy, I am providing the City Solicitor, Marshall Handly, with a copy of this packet for
his information and input. Please let me know if you have any questions.
