UNFINISHED BUSINESS
The Collings Foundation – had concerns regarding not being able to bring their airshow in Beverly the last two years due to a new airshow. There was a discussion regarding a lack of
support from the city of Beverly and that Beverly Airport is the only airport that charges The Collings Foundation. David Perinchief suggested adding line item to his budget, in Veterans
Services, to cover expenses (porta potties etc.) to have The Collings Foundation come back to Beverly. David, Jerry, and Buddy will have a meeting with Kevin Hartunian to discuss further.
Kevin suggested having a meeting with the airport manager and chair of the airport commission to discuss this situation further.
Veterans Council – New members need to be formally appointed. David will reach out to the new members to have them contact the Mayor’s office to schedule a meeting to be formally appointed.
Schools – Plaques at the schools need to be rededicated. The schools need to coordinate Veteran’s Day and Memorial Day activities so that veterans can attend at all schools. David
will send a list to Kevin and he will discuss it with the superintendent.
Veteran Street Signs – Street signs, plaza signs, and square signs have not been put up yet. Mike Collins is working on replacing and repairing the signs. Kevin will reach out to Mike
Collins and find out the timeline for the signs. David would like to have pictures taken of all the sites,
signs, squares, and veteran graves. Kevin suggested looking for a volunteer, but he and David will discuss this further.
ADJOURNMENT
Jerry Guilebbe made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Motion was seconded and carried.
