Jerry made a motion to postpone the start of the meeting to hear from Al Temkin regarding the holiday parade. Motion was seconded and passed.
Minutes from the previous meeting were read. Jerry Guilebbe made a motion to accept the minutes. Motion was seconded and passed.
Committee Reports
Financial Report – Current balance is $12,660.81.
Beverly Vietnam Veterans Memorial Committee - On schedule to be dedicated on Veterans Day, November 11, 2018. The August Beverly Vietnam Veterans meeting will be held at the plaza on
August 1st.
Unfinished Business
Memorial Day – More volunteers are needed to flagging the cemetery.
New Business
Homecoming Veterans Cookout – August 3rd, 4-7pm at Vietnam Veterans Plaza.
BevCam – Walt Kosmowski from BevCam contacted Jerry about producing a show for veterans. Jerry Guilebbe and David Perinchief have volunteered to be commentators. If you are interested
in helping out or have any ideas about what to put on the show, contact Jerry.
Beverly Holiday Parade – Al Temkin stopped by to talk about having veterans participate in the parade. The theme this year is the 350th anniversary of Beverly.
Good of the Order
Signs being replaced in the squares will be brand new. Jerry will double check with Mike Collins to make sure they are new and not refurbished.
Vittori Rocci plaque – According to the school committee, there will be a formal dedication of all the plaques and they will go into the Beverly Middle School.
