Reading and Approval of the Minutes
Paul Weinberg made a motion to table the approval of the minutes from the September meeting. Motion was seconded and carried.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Holiday Parade – The council is working on securing and decorating a truck for the parade.
Veterans Day Events – Veterans Day @ Senior Center, Veterans Breakfast @ Depot Diner, Coffee Klutch @ the Rocci Post, Veterans Day program @ Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Veterans Day program
@ Ledgewood.
Veterans Day Budget – The budget for Veterans Day is only $350.00. Jerry Guilebbe will get a copy of the budget from Bryant Ayles, the Director of Municipal Finance.
Veterans Day Ceremony – Beverly Vietnam Veterans will order the wreaths.
Removing Cemetery Flags - Shawn Murray is handling Beverly Farms. St. Mary’s is already done. Some Girl Scout volunteers can help with North Beverly. Central Cemetery will be difficult.
NEW BUSINESS
A social member at the Spear Post recently lost her mother and she has a fairly new hospital bed and an electric wheelchair. She would like them to go to good use with veterans. Jerry
will send an email to David Perinchief to see if he knows of a veteran that could use them.
