Director's Report
Building Concerns and Usage
One of the 4 furnaces that heats the building doesn't work.
One of the four units that cool the building doesn't work
Plan is in place to repave the parking lot.
The sprinkler system needs to be revamped; many parts of the lawn are not getting irrigated.
Looking to find funding for a van that doesn't require a CDL license to drive. DOT grant
possible.
Administration and Finances
YTD budget reviewed. Buyback account has negative balance. Will transfer money from Full
Time Staff budget to rectify.
Working on two grants, one for mobile computer cart and another is for Chromebooks for digital
literacy program. ARPA grant for computer cart, that has already been ordered. Chromebook
grant application is in the works.
Programs and Events
More day trips: Casinos, movies, restaurants, farms, beach, etc.
Podiatrist, barber, nail tech, and message therapist
Language and ASL classes for deaf clients, need teachers for classes
LGBTQ & Friends coffee hour planned May 6 h at 10 a.m.
Digital Literacy classes
More things are happening and are posted on Facebook
Volunteer Recognition Event on May 2nd, 12:30 —2 p.m.
On list for DEP for tree planting
Dominoes class for clients held. Liked by participants. Taught by Chris.

What does "everyone invited" mean? Do you have to be a senior to be invited? Will research in
By-Laws.
Discussion about better communication with the mayor.
Looking for increased budget for Senior Day.
Looking for sponsors for "Spring Fling" April 13'h and Mother's Day event May 111h.
Personnel Updates
Four interviews were conducted for the Assistant Director Position. Will interview candidate for
Transportation Coordinator this week or next week. Will have Activities and Outreach Program
Assistant position posted.

Grants Committee
One Grant approved.
Awards Committee
Found 2022 awards application form. Need updated letter to be reviewed.
Motion to accept Director's Report Richard Tabbut, seconded Jessica Wistran 3:27 p.m.
New Business
Change of BOD Meetings Format discussed. Director wants more BOD input in making monthly
agenda for meetings. Chris encouraged members to reach out to him to have items put on
agenda. More collaboration encouraged.
