APRIL 25, 2001
A Special Meeting of the Planning & Construction Committee was held on Wednesday, April 25, 2001
6:15 PM at the Beverly Public Library, 32 Essex Street, Beverly, MA.
Members Present: Ray Boucherd, Chairmn; Maureen Hobin, Robert Griffin, Rod Maxner, Cheryl
Sydorko, Tim Brennan, Thad Siemasko and Deb Comeau.
Others Present: Frank Killilea, Ron Bouchard, Judy Mulligan, Chris Bradley
The Meeting was called to order at 6:15 PM by Chairmam, Ray Bouchard.
This Special Meeting was called for the purpose of interviewing four firms who are interested in supplying
the City with a "Feasibility Study on Beverly High School".
The following four firms were interviewed:
1. Gale Associates
II. Tappe Associates
III. Flansburgh Associates
IV. SMMA
Each Commission supplied his/her opinion on each of the four firms presentations. Mr. Griffin made a
Motion that was seconded by Mr. Maxner that the Commission select SMMA for negotiations for the "High
School Feasibility Study". The Motion was carried unanimously.
Mr. Maxner made a Motion seconded by Ms. Sydorko to adjourn the meeting at 9:30 PM. The Motion was
carried unanimously.
