Members discuss the current industrial area and the uses that currently exist on
the site. Mason and Hutchings discuss the zoning designation, and Hutchings
states the intent is to create a separate overlay district for the area. Hutchings
states design standards will be incorporated into the zoning. Members voice their
concern about height. Hutchings reviews opportunities for public comment.
d. Pearl asks if others are attending Salem's Keeping History Above Water
workshop on how to use coastal resilience efforts to protect historic resources.
Hutchings states she has shared the workshop information with the Commission,
and will forward the information again for those who are interested.

Motion: LaMont moves to adjourn. Pearl seconds. The motion carries 4-0.
