PR06012017 o Started project in June 2016. Met with committee on 10/13/16. ■ Committee trying to get input from DPS for grading, irrigation and site prep work. o Applied for$50,000 from CPC—Approved by City Council 10/17/16. o Bev Rec Park of the Year fund - $50,000 (FY2018) o Request$10,000 from Lynch Trustees o Still working on details for equipment and costs of site prep to make area larger ■ Estimated at$100,000 total cost ■ New design presented at 4/6/17 P&R Commission meeting and approved in concept. o Target installation date in late 2017 - Vittori Park Playground: o Project to start in November 2016—Need to meet with neighbors o Installation projected for late 2017 o Applied for$25,000 from CPC—Approved by City Council 10/17/16. o Received initial design and cost estimate from New England Recreation. Still looking at options. - Lynch Park Tot Lot(Reinstall): o Small tot lot play structure was removed to make space for the new splash pad. Tot lot will be moved to another area next to the new large play structure. ■ Prep new area for reinstallation of tot lot—2017 ■ Reinstall new tot lot—fall 2017 ■ Reinstall benches that were removed to make room for splash pad—fall 2017 ADDITIONAL NOTES(Future projects): New Artificial Turf Field @ Memorial -$1M loan approved by City Council 3/7/17—This new field will provide much needed access to fields in the spring and throughout the year for many groups (BHS, BYSA, BYGL, BYBL, many others).
