PR03012018 ■ Met w/ Dennis Dale&Mike Collins on 1/22/18 to discuss project and work to be done by DPW resources. o Abutters' meeting held on 10/11/16 - Positive feedback received. ■ Public meeting for design input (CPC)—5/22/17 o Updated project schedule—Start in spring 2018 - Oak Heights Playground: COMPLETED on 10/13/17 o Started project in June 2016. Met with committee on 10/13/16. ■ Committee trying to get input from DPS for grading, irrigation and site prep work. o Applied for$50,000 from CPC—Approved by City Council 10/17/16. o Bev Rec Park of the Year fund - $25,000 (FY2018) o Requested$10,000 from Lynch Trustees-Approved o Still working on details for equipment and costs of site prep to make area larger ■ Estimated at$100,000 total cost o Installation date—9/29/17- DPW completed site prep • Final work&equipment installation completed on 10/13/17. - Vittori Park Playground: o Project to start in November 2016—Need to meet with neighbors and church school o Installation projected for March 2018 o Applied for$25,000 from CPC—Approved by City Council 10/17/16. o Met on 10/17/18 to finalize plans. Equipment ordered in December. - Colgate Park Playground: o Installation projected for March 2018 o Applied for$25,000 from CPC—Approved by City Council 10/17/16. o Met on 10/17/18 to finalize plans. Equipment ordered in December. - Lynch Park Office Improvements: o Applied for an ADA Access grant ($50,000)to fund renovations to our offices to provide full ADA access to the building. ■ Replace stairs at front and side entrances- DONE ■ New door for front entrance- DONE ■ Add ramp, platform and new door at the other side entrance, closest to play structure ■ Replace existing bathroom stalls with two new bathrooms (At least one of these will be fully ADA accessible, depending on space available) NOTE: Did not receive the ADA Access grant. Lynch Trustees may be interested in funding this project. $40K Enterprise funds approved at last commission meeting. 2017 CPA Projects: Park Project CPA Request Comments Cahill Park Replace tennis court and fencing $60,000 $75,000 total cost—Recommended $40K Not enough funding to move forward at this time!
