2021 03 10 School Committee Minutes discussion. Re chair restated the motion, adding that Wednesdays would have an early release of
noon and 1 p.m. respectively, and took a vote 6:1 (Visnick).
Dr. Charochak said that the 5th graders, with an April 12 return date, would require a waiver from DESE,
which she was confident the Department of Education might entertain, but she was recommended to obtain
the Committee's approval to apply for such a waiver for this delayed return for 5th graders. Ms. Visnick
made a motion to ask Dr. Charochak to submit such a waiver to postpone the 5th grade until April 12;
Mayor Cahill seconded. (BevCam 3:55:56) No discussion. Motion passed 7:0.

Ms. Visnick stated that the Finance and Facilities Committee last met on Wednesday, February 24, 2021.
The Committee
Upon the recommendation of the Standing Committee on Finance and Facilities a motion was made by
Ms.Abell to approve the attached Budget Transfers #197. The motion was seconded by Mayor Cahill
and approved 7:0.
Upon the recommendation of the Standing Committee on Finance and Facilities a motion was made
by Ms.Abell to approve the following January 2021 Gifts to Schools.
BHS- Lifetouch Photography Commission General Use $1,204.14
District Wide- Lueders Environmental Gift General Use 75.00
Total $1,279.14
The motion was seconded by Ms. Robinson and approved 7:0.
