In Board of school committee. Present Messr. Hinkley, Trowt, Griffin, Choate,
Galloupe, Danforth, Choate.
The committee on plans for Ryal’s Side school house reported that it would be
well to adopt Mr. Smith’s plans.
Voted that Mr. Hinkley be authorized to bargain with Mr. Smith concerning the
price of the plans.
Voted to pay Miss Amie Wilkins teacher at the rate of $360.00 for the school year
beginning Sept. 1887.
The South School committee reported the establishment the Sixth Primary School
and the appointment of the Grace Wood as teacher.
The resignation of Lizzie M. Ropelye teacher of the Washington Intermediate
School to take effect May 1888 was reported.
Voted to adjourn for one week.
