In board of school committee. Present Messr. Baker, Loring, Hinkley, Griffin and
Galloupe.
Voted that the hill-lot on the Masury land, so called, on Bridge street be selected
as the site of the school house and that one thousand dollars be offered for it, and if the
offer be refused, then- that it be condemned and taken under the statute.
Voted that Mr. Baker be authorized to make arrangements for the purchase of the
land and report progress at some future meeting.
