1886-07-20July 20, 1886 In board of school committee. All present. Voted that H. Addie Williams be teacher of the Farms Intermediate School, her pay to be at the rate of thirty five dollars per month. Voted that the pay of Mary L. Ober be at the rate of fifty dollars per month. Voted that the pay of Rose M. Wentworth be at the rate of thirty dollars per month. Voted to pay Rose M.Wentworth a gratuity of fifty dollars in consideration of her valuable services and her kindness in remaining in charge of the Farms Primary School instead of seeking promotion to the vacancy in the in the intermediate school. Voted to re-elect the Washington School teachers, their pay to be the same as that of last year. Voted that the pay of Briscoe School teachers be the same as that of last year. Voted that the sub-committee of the Briscoe and of the Washington schools be authorized to pay a sum not exceeding three dollars per month for musical instruction. Voted that the pay of the Cove School School teachers be the same as that of last year. Voted that the pay of Bass River school teachers be the same as that of last year. Voted to re-elect the Dodges Row School teacher the pay to be the same as that of last year. Voted that the question of the election of music teacher be postponed one week. Voted that the pay of the janitor of the [Hannah] school house to be at the rate of three hundred and fifty dollars per year. Voted to adjourn for one week. Wm. H. Lovett, Secretary
