1886-06-29June 29, 1886 In Board of School Committee. Present Messr. Baker, Moulton, Giddings, Tuck, Griffin, Hinkley, Morse, Boyden. Voted that the sub-committee of the Farms Schools be authorized to advertise for proposals for painting that building. Voted to re-elect the High School teachers. Voted to re-elect the South School teachers. Voted to re-elect the Briscoe School teachers. Voted to re-elect the Cove School teachers. Voted to re-elect the Bass River School teachers. Voted separately sub-committees of the Washington, Farms, Centerville, Dodge’s, Row school have further time in which to report upon the teachers in their respective schools. Voted that the salary Mr. Hurd be the same as that of last year. Voted that the pay of each of the assistants of the High School be at the rate of sixty dollars per month.
