1886-04-12 April 12, 1886. School Committee met. Present Messr. Baker, Giddings, Moulton, Griffin, Hinkley, Cole, Tuck. Voted by ballot that John I. Baker be chairman Voted that Wm. H. Lovett be secretary. Voted that the chairman appoint a committee of three to nominate sub committees for the present year and that this committee report the school regulations. Messr. Hinkley, Moulton and Tuck were so appointed. Voted that the customary public examination of these several schools, except of the High School, be omitted the present year. Voted that the question of admitting Mr. Kimball Child from Wenham to the public schools be referred to the sub-committee of the Bass River School. Voted to adjourn for one week. Wm. H.
