In board of school committee. Present Messr. Baker, Cole, Moulton, Tuck,
Griffin, Morse, Hinkley, Giddings.
Voted that the sub-committee of the Dodge Row School be authorized to employ
a janitor.
Voted that the sub-committee of the South School be authorized to cover with
felting such parts of the stean pipes as may be necessary.
Voted that the sub-committee of the Washington School be authorized to
construct a suitable walk from Elliott St. to the entrance of the building.
Voted that the Text-Book committee be requested to examine the subject of
introducing either Higginson’s or Scudder’s Text book on history.
Voted to adjourn for two weeks.
