A Joint Meeting of the Beverly School Committee and the Beverly City Council was held
on Monday, March 29, 1999 in the Beverly High School Library, Beverly, MA.

Judy DeLucia, Assistant Superintendent

Judy Mulligan, School Business Manager.
and Representative Michael Cahill.
School Committee President Bill Cahill called the meeting to order at 7:08 PM.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mr. McHugh.

The meeting was opened to general discussion.
Appreciation was expressed to Superintendent Lupini and his administrative staff for the
excellent presentations.
Mr. Lupini was praised for his exciting and progressive manner of leading the Beverly
Public Schools.
School Committee President Bill Cahill thanked Representative Michael Cahill for
attending the meeting, and expressed regrets from Senator Fred Berry that he was unable
to attend.
The next meeting of the two boards will be held in the Fall of 1999.
The meeting adjourned at 8:45 PM.
