A special meeting of the Beverly School Committee was held on Monday,
February 24, 1997 in the School Committee Room, Briscoe Middle School.
Members Present: Mr. Bjork, Mrs. Frutiger, Mrs. Krueger,
Mr. McHugh, Mrs. Seamans and Mrs. Goodenough.
Mrs. Gillespie arrived at 7:30 PM.
Members Absent: Mayor ScanIon and Ms. Levin.
Also in Attendance: Florence Seldin, NESDEC consultant, and
Bruce Nardella, Superintendent Search Committee
member.
Mrs. Goodenough called the meeting to order at 7:10 PM.
Ms. Seldin discussed interview procedures for finalist interviews and briefed
committee members on questions to ask superintendent candidates.
The Committee established a schedule for site visits to candidates' home
communities. Members of the screening committee will be contacted to invite
them to participate in the site visits.
Finalist interviews will be conducted in the Briscoe Cafeteria, Briscoe Middle
School, on February 25, February 27, March 3, and March 6, 1997 at 7:30 PM.
The meeting adjourned at 9:10 PM.
