MINUTES – LICENSE BOARD – MARCH 7, 2002
Meeting called to order at 6:30 p.m.
All Members Present. Lt. Roccio present.
Members introduced by Chairman Kelley.
1. Bella Mia – New License – Change from a Beer, Wine, Cordial and
Liqueur License to an All-Alcoholic Beverage License. Sheila
Alvarez present. Clerk explained to the Board how the process works.
Chairman Kelley asked if there was anyone present in favor or opposed
to the granting of the application. No one present.
Green cards submitted to the Board.
Mr. Ranta made a motion to approve the license. Seconded by Mr.
Heller. Motion carried 3-0.
2. Chickie’s – Change in corporate officers and manager. Jackie
McKilbride present. She will be taking over as manager and
treasurer.
Chairman Kelley asked if there was anyone present in favor or opposed
to the granting of the application. No one present.
Mr. Ranta made a motion to approve the change. Seconded by Mr.
Heller. Motion carried 3-0.
3. One-day license – Glen Urghuart School. Motion made and seconded
to approve the license.

4. Communication from Montserrat College of Art asking for a member
of the Board to serve on a committee to discuss city matters 3-4 times
a year.
Chairman Kelley agreed to attend the first meeting and then perhaps
the members could attend on a rotating basis.
Next meeting scheduled for April 4 at 6:30 p.m.
Meeting adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
