MINUTES OF MEETING - LICENSE BOARD - APRIL 3, 1997
Meeting called to order at 6:06 p.m.
All members present.
Chairman Terry introduced himself and members of the
Board.
1. Application for one-day licenses from Trustees of
Reservations -
April 6 - full bar
May 24 - full bar
May 25 - beer and wine
May 31 - full bar
Mr. Cook - motion - to approve licenses as requested.
Seconded by Mr. Heller. Motion carried 3-0.
2. Calendar of Holidays received from ABCC and placed on
file. Clerk instructed to send a copy to all license
holders.
3. Skeeters - Invited in by the Board to discuss
progress of business. No one appeared on their behalf.
Board voted to send a letter telling them their license
has been rescinded.
4. Miscellaneous -
Richdale - Clerk informed Board that owners of Richdale
on Cabot Street would be submitting an application for a
Beer and Wine Package Goods License at the next meeting.
Rollo's - Police Report - Clerk instructed to invited Mr.
Dempsey in for the May meeting. Clerk also to request
that Lt. Roccio and investigating Police Officers also be
present.
5. Application for a One-Day License from Montserrat
College of Art for their Auction. Attorney Mark Glovsky
present. He stated that this is an annual event. They

have never had a problem. It is a well known occasion.
Request the license from 6:00-11:00 p.m. There are no
students or kids present at the event. Have a caterer
and donated food from area restaurants. Those who serve
the drinks are professional bartenders.
Mr. Cook - motion - to approve the application. Seconded
by Mr. Heller. Motion carried 3-0.
Next meeting scheduled for May 1.
Meeting adjourned at 6:35 p.m.
