The subcommittee on vacations met with Mrs. Luther on Wednesday evening January 16, 1969.
The Committee recommends that Chapter IV, Section 4 (Vacations) of the Rules of Procedure,
Beverly Public Library, be amended to:
From 1 to 5 years service: 3 weeks
From five years on: 4 weeks
It also recommends as part of the administering of the above (though not part of the published Rules
of Procedures) that:
1. vacations be scheduled with the approval of the Librarian.
2. in special cases and at the discretion of the Board four weeks vacation might be given with less
than five years service
