Mr. Lovett, Mrs. Conrad, Miss Standley and Mr. Tappan of the Personnel Committee present.
Of the candidates interviewed and screened the one for possible consideration was Miss Marjorie
Mills of North Reading.
VOTED to recommend to the full Board of Trustees on April 19 that Mr. Nesse be appointed
to the position of Head Librarian.
Mr. Lovett reported of the meeting with the Mayor and a possible adjustment in salary. With
the approval of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen, new employees can start at an advanced Step
within the Grade. The official request was made.
