Diane Costa presided.
Trustees met to discuss the new long range plan.
Strategy, mechanics, and composition of a community advisory committee were discussed.
It was decided to break down the community advisory committee into focus groups. The
following focus groups were identified: educators (public, private, Historical Society), businesses
(includes media), seniors, city government, general users (includes Friends), and human services.
Tom Scully, Diane Costa, and John Young will decide how to form and/or combine these groups.
Tom Scully will contact prospective committee members. Meetings will be planned for April and
May.
The next meeting of the Long Range Committee will be Tuesday, March 27, 2001 at 6:30 P.M.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:45 P.M.
