Report of Meeting
May 9, 1986

PRESENT: Kathleen Hendchon, Frances McCarthy, Susan Salt, Sheila Glowacki, Nancy White, Jeff
Hoover, A. Anthony Tappe.
Mr. Tappe introduced Mr. Hoover and they presented preliminary drawings for the Hardie School,
three proposed plans for additions to the main library and a detailed outline of library programs and
facilities. Discussion centered around the three plans for additions to the main library, with Mr. Tappe
explaining the three alternatives. Mr. Tappe and Mr. Hoover will discuss the program/facilities
statement with staff again on Wednesday, May 14, to be certain nothing has been left out. Following
that meeting, they will meet with the Long Range Planning Committee to finalize the
program/facilities statement. The mayor will be invited to that meeting on May 14, 1986.
