The trustees met to review the proposed FY2005 budget.
Tom Scully reviewed the details of the FY2005 budget.
Lindsay Diehl bought up the issue of raises for the Library Director and Assistant Director.
Joanne Avallon will draft a letter to Mayor Scanlon proposing that Tom Scully’s salary be raised
to $74,000 per year and Anna Langstaff’s salary be raised to $31 per hour.
Tom Scully explained that he put $175,000 in the book budget because that is what it would take
for the library to be certified next year.
Lindsay Diehl made the motion, seconded by John Young, to:
adjust the proposed salary line items to $74,000 for the Library Director and
$56,420 for the Assistant Director and to include a text message suggesting the
reader see the trustees’ letter. Motion passed.
Kathleen McMahon made the motion, seconded by John Young, to:
present to the full Board the proposed FY2005 budget as amended. Motion
passed.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:15 P.M.
