Budget Meeting Nov. 15, 1957 4:30
A Budget Meeting was held at the Library Nov. 15 at 4:30. Present were Mr. Brown,
Chairman, Mrs. Conrad, Mr. Toomey & Mr. Cagan.
As Mrs. Conrad and Mr. Cagan had surveyed salaries of other Libraries and held a conference
with Mrs. Galiek, Director of The Board of Library Commissioners in Boston. Mr. Cagan discussed
in detail position classification and salary survey, after which the 1958 Salaries were set at $57,050
and Maintenance $17,250. This to be voted on a the regular Nov. 21 Meeting.
