Opening of Bids
A Special Meeting was called by the Finance Committee for the above date at 5 o'clock to
open bids for a bookmobile. Present were Mrs. Conrad, Mr. Tooracy, Mr. Brown and Mr. Cagan.
Also present was Mr. Arthur Kanellas, representative of Loring Motors in Salem, the only bidder.
Mrs. Conrad opened the bid for a 1959 International Metro-Mite walk-in truck for the sum
of $2500.00. A city exemption certificate was included.
A motion was made and SO VOTED that the Finance Committee recomd to the Board
of Trustees the purchase of the Imernational Metro-mite track at the bid of $2500.00, which had been
opened by the Finance Committee, subject to tax reid.
