Budget Meeting
Present: Mrs. Conrad Miss Standley and Mr. Maeser, Chairman of Budget Committee.
After considerable discussion, the Budget was drawn up as follows:
Books 18,000 13% oftotai Budget, excluding capital outlays,
Replacements 2,000 required for State Aid.

Lighting 2,800

Furniture 2, 100
Repairs 1,000

Still under consideration is the figure for furniture. The condition of the furniture in the Children's
Room is deplorable. The question is: what is a reasonable mount to request. Estimates will be made
before the November meeting. Also under consideration is whether or not request for fumiture be
made under Other Outlays. The 13% of the total Budget required for books and periodicals excludes
Other Outlays.
