Meeting called to order at 6:30 p.m.
Mr. Scully updated the Board on the meeting that he and Mr. Burke had with Patricia Goelert,
Program Director of Tobacco Control Collaborative re: grant applications pertaining to special
projects addressing public school tobacco policy, tobacco education and cessation in the local
colleges.
Mr. Scully met with Superintendent Lupini on another matter but brought up the special projects
grant. The Superintendent was very interested in improving enforcement of school tobacco
policy.
Mr. Scully researched potential grant opportunities as' suggested at the last Board meeting. Mr.
Scully stated that he had identified eight federal and sixteen private grant possibilities. Mr. Scully
will work with Health Department staff to investigate feasibility.
Mr. Burke updated the Board on the finding of unfitness of 118-122 Rantoul Street, owned by the
Pisani Family Trust.
