Thursday, January 15, 1970 4 P.M.
The regular meeting was held at the Library on the above date. Present were Mrs. Conrad, presiding,
Mr. Ricei, Miss StandIcy, Dr. Murray, Mr. Maeser, Mr. Lovett, Mrs. Risley, Mrs. Isenberg and Mrs.
Sterman.
Mayor Grimes was in attendance and expressed his interest in library expansion.
Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
Administration:
Radiator in main reading room is to be replaced.
Outside lights with electric eye are to be placed in the rear of Main Library and Farms Branch.
Ads have been placed in the LIBKARY JOUILNAL and the SATURDAY REVIEW OF
LITEKATURE for an Assistant Librarian.
End of year financial report stated monies returned to City:
From Salary Account $ 31.26
From Maintenance Account .72
Carried over in Trust 5.14
VOTED: That Mrs. Bernice Gilman and Miss Susan Kincade be hired under the six-month probation
rule.
Statistical report of State survey comparing libraries of comparable size was presented.
Report to Library Division, Department of Education, of statistics for the year 1969 was also
presented.
Meeting adjourned at 5:15 P.M.
