01d business:
-Consideration of goals/objectives deferred until June meeting.
-Transfer of $605.00 has been completed
-Mrs. Conrad has written to the Auditor and Solicitor requesting a clarification of Mrs.
Stevens' case.
New business:
-Circulation figures will be lower due to change in interpretation of report forms.
VOTED: To approve the 6 month provisional appointment of Mrs. Marilyn
Burke as Jr. Assistant in Circulation Department.
VOTED: To close the library on July 5th.
VOTED: To appoint Librarian as representative to Eastern Region Advisory Council annual
meeting in Boston on June 6, 1974
-New selected reading lists on "Beverly and the North Shore: & "Sailing" finished.
-Friends of the Library meeting scheduled for May 29, at 7:30 p.m. was discussed Additional
names were suggested.
-Librarian's reported Mass. Library Assn. meeting in Hyannis
-Decision to defer decision on telephone recording unit and/or change in phone system until
next meeting.
-Work on new lighting in Genealogy Room should be completed soon.
