The regular meeting was held at the Library on the above date. Present were Mrs. Conrad,
presiding, Mr. Maeser, Miss StandIcy, Mr. Lovett, Mrs. Isenberg and Mr. Tappan.
Moment of silence observed as a tribute to Dr. Murray who passed away today.
Financial sheets were presented,
Reports of the Heads of Departments read.
Administration:
Carpet laid in Children's Room.
Lights' estimates for Children Room received. Mr. Panzero, lowest bidder, to start work.
(Panzero $650, McQueeney $865, Fisher & George $990).
Iron work painted with the exception of fire escape.
VOTED to amend Budget Committee report by allowing $3,000 for Furniture, $4,000 for Repairs.
Librarian reported Saturday openings well received by the public.
VOTED to accept recommendation of Personnel Committee that Robert Calder be appointed Desk
Assistant at Grade 5 for six months' probationary period.
VOTED permission to Municipal Credit Union to use the Yellow room on November 21 at 7:30
P.M. for annual meeting
Mrs. Beatrice Finney, representing the League of Women Voters, was present.
