The regular meeting was held at the Library on the above date. Present were Mrs. Conrad,
presiding, Dr. Murray, Mr. Maeser, Miss StandIcy, Mr. Lovett, Mrs. Isenberg and Mr. Tappan.
Minutes of the last meeting read and approved.
Administration:
Mr. Maeser reported on necessary repairs, furniture and equipment.
VOTED: To authorize expenditures for repairs as outlined with the exception of the
lavatories which will be considered later in the year.
VOTED: To purchase equipment as outlined.
VOTED: To place bids for necessary items (alarm system and air-conditioning).
VOTED: Miss Lavoie to permanent status.
COMMUNICATIONS:
Statement from Mr. ShatTer clarifying his report. (Letter placed on file).
Letter from Bureau of Library &xtension further information on State Aid. (Letter placed on
file).
Beverly Public Library Memorial Fund stated with girls in memory of Mrs. Gertrude Mayo. Legacy
from estate of Jessie L. O. Peiree also received.
