Nov. 17, 1966 4 P.M. Regular Meeting
The meeting was held at the library. In attendance were Mrs. Bryant, presiding. Miss Standley, Mr.
Pierce, Dr. Murray, Mr. Tooracy, Mr. Lovett and Mr. Maeser.
The records of the previous meeting were approved as read. Finance sheets were studied and
approved.
Because of a leak in the Young Adults' Room and at the Farms Library, after discussion, it was felt
that Belanger Roofing Co. should come to inspect the Main Library and Eagle Roofing Co. should
inspect the Branch to determine if the cause is from the roof.
Mr. Toomey reported that the City Maintenance will paint the hall at the Farms Branch.
Stated that because of the resignation of the Reference Librarian and due to the extended illness of
Mrs. Hall, the salary of the Reference Librarian must be used for extra help so as to continue the
work to the end of the year. The salary was voted for the year and must be used to carry on. The
Trustees stated that they would stand back of the Librarian in case the Mayor objects and demands
return of the remainder of the salary money.
Librarian and circulation reports were read and approved.
