It was decided for the Finance Committee: Mr. Toomey, Mr. Pierce and Mr. Macset meet with the Mayor, Wed. Apr. 27, 10 o'clock, to try to have the $1500 put back in the budget. Discussion was held as to the bookmobile, as Mrs. Pender will be leaving soon. As only one application was presented, it was tabled as the By-Laws read that more than one application must be presented. Read was a letter from Roy K. Patch, Attomey, stating that from the Estate of Abbie M. Page, to the Beverly Public Library of City of Beverly, any of my books that are not desired by the Dane Street Church shall be given to said Library. Thank you letters to go to Mr. Hyde for book case in Children's Room, Mrs. Hollis Irving, sister of Mrs. Page and to Beverly Improvement Society and Members of family of Mrs. John Alden Boyd for two trees.
